Hi!! My name is Peter Morris,

I am married with two daughters and have managed to turn my passion into a full time career. I am an internationally award winning photographer based in Auckland specialising in people photography and operate primarily from my dedicated studio in West Auckland. I shoot women from all walks of life for all sorts of reasons.

I have been photographing women in artistic nude style in my dedicated Auckland studio for over 20 years and have found it to be a very rewarding genre with overwhelmingly positive feedback from those who have undertaken such shoots.

I love working with light and shadow to flatter and enhance shape and form and have built up a skill set and knowledge base which can come only from years of experience.

The studio from which I work from has been built on years of refinement and is both comfortable and versatile while also being very practical and "tuneable".

If you (like most other women) are "photo phobic" and just can't manage to step outside of your comfort zone for whatever reason but would just love the oppotunity to be able to do just that then lets chat. That's how all good things start.

MY STYLE

Redefining The Way You See Youself

My style is minimalistic, simple and free of distractions. I shoot in studio away from prying eyes and without the need to worry about weather and changing light etc.

I liken my style to somewhere between that of local iconic New Zealand photographers Robin Morrison with his simplistic and unpretentious portrayal of New Zealand countryside, everyday life and quirky architecture and that of Brian Brake, also documentary style but with very deliberate and orchestrated use of light at times which you will see in my people photography, largely unpretentious and simple imagery of people sculpted with light to give edgy 3 dimensioal look.

I often incorporate an old age technique used by the old master painters called "chiaroscuro" which is Italian for "light and shadow" and brings a 3D sculpted quality to what is essentially a 2D image.

I keep props (if any) simple and same with wardrobe, usualy none or possibly one simple piece at most.

Beautiful, Sensual And Elegant Artistic Nude Photography For Women

Over the last few years I have managed to have over 50 individual works exhibited in over 180 exhibitions in over a dozen countries including New Zealand, Australia, England, Ireland, USA, Italy, Sweden, Finland and India as both prints and digital projection.

This imagery has largely been a by product of what it is I do, not my actual intention. And so it is with my wall art, a by product of many years of shooting with intensity and immense passion.
